This fleet traditionally offers our Teams the best mileage opportunities. Driver-friendly freight and nearly routine lanes mean consistent miles, pay and home time. Candidates with FAST cards, or those willing to apply upon hire, are preferred.
Hyndman Expedited offers teams several scheduled runs to choose from that best fit their lifestyle, especially for teams who prefer predictable miles and predictable home time. Lanes run mostly between Ontario and Manitoba/Alberta/ BC. Candidates who can cross the border enjoy optimal miles.

Experience is confirmed by employment verification. In the event employment verification is not possible, you may submit a Record of Employment (ROE) with your application as valid proof of experience. Your base rate continues to increase with your Hyndman service, as noted above. Miles are based on Rand McNally practical miles.

Bonus Pay Opportunities
- $0.01 - 27,000 miles per quarter (9,000 miles / month average)
- $0.02 - 28,500 miles per quarter (9,500 miles / month average)
- $0.03 - 30,000 miles per quarter (10,000 miles / month average)
- $0.04 - 31,500 miles per quarter (10,500 miles / month average)
- $0.05 - 33,000 miles per quarter (11,000 miles / month average)
Note: All rates are split.
Safety Bonus: $0.01 / mile split, up to $350 per quarter. Paid annually as per program criteria.
Clean Inspection Bonus: $50 upon prompt submission of clean inspection report
Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 per qualified & hired driver, as per program criteria
Dock Detention Pay: $20/hour split after 2 hours of waiting, as per program criteria
Extra Stop Pay: $30 / $45 / $60 / $75 split - excluding first and last
Layover Pay: $50 flat rate after 24 hours, as per program criteria
OTR Hourly Work: $20 per hour split, as per Driver Manager approval
Border Delay Pay: Yes! (subject to Driver Manager approval)
Breakdown Pay: Yes! (subject to Driver Manager approval)

Home & Vacation Time
Home Time: At Hyndman, we understand the importance of home time. We are happy to work with you and agree upon a specialized schedule that works best for your individual lifestyle.
Vacation Time: Vacation time is paid twice per year in June and December as per the following schedule:
• 4% of gross if employed 0-59 months
• 6% of gross if employed 60 months +
• 8% of gross if employed 120 months +
Health Benefits: 80% health & dental, eyeglass, out-of-province medical, and life insurance - all company paid, solo or family coverage! Benefits start on Day 1 over the road – no waiting time! (You pay LTD only)
Equipment: Permanently assigned tractor – no slip-seating! Average age of equipment is 1.5 years. Teams enjoy our Kenworth T680s as availability permits.
Operations: Satellite communication; assigned Driver Managers; strategically placed terminals across North America to best support you over the road; consistent traffic lanes (less waiting); and very high trailer-to-tractor ratio.
Electronic Logs: Our drivers love it and you will too! We train you well and offer full continued support after orientation. You do not need to know anything about computers to master e-Logs.
Pet Policy: Drivers are allowed to have pets with them. Speak with your recruiter for details.
EZ Pass / PrePass: Available
Orientation: Stipend of $150 for the 2.5 days spent in orientation. Accommodations, some meals and travel provided for long-distance travelers at our Ayr, ON terminal.
- Valid AZ (Class 1) Driver’s Licence
- Minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months.
- Current Abstract & CVOR in good standing – no less than 30 days old.
- Current Criminal Record Search – we can assist you with this.
- Valid Medical
- FAST Card preferred or willing to apply for FAST.
- Drivers applying to our International Fleet must be eligible to cross the U.S. border
- Ability to read, write and speak English in accordance to industry regulations.
